A Powerful Partnership: ENWIN Recognized as Campaign Hero of the Year

Windsor ON: ENWIN was recognized as Campaign Hero of the Year at the United Way’s 2016 I Believe in My Community Awards dinner on March 29, at Caesars Windsor.
Customer Service Supervisor Laura Johnston, who spearheaded the company’s fundraising campaign this year, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
"We wanted to put the focus of this year’s campaign on education,” she told attendees at the United Way’s I Believe in my Community Awards celebration. “We worked really hard to highlight all the ways the United Way and their programs are fighting for our community."
Through this campaign, ENWIN employees donated an impressive total of $33,656, an increase of more than $150 over last year. In recognition of the generous donations by employees, ENWIN contributed a one-time donation of $3,922, bringing the total donation from the utility to $37,578.
