The Power to Give Back: ENWIN Employees Strive to Flush out Cancer
“I am filled with pride to work amongst such generous, kind-hearted people. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this drive. Your commitment and devotion to the community are an inspiration!” Helga Reidel, President & CEO, ENWIN Utilities Ltd.
Once again, ENWIN’s staff proved that it knows what community spirit and caring really mean!
Just like last year, the Windsor-Essex office of the Canadian Cancer Society challenged ENWIN employees to raise $100 in a day for breast cancer, by participating in the “Flush Out Cancer” campaign.
ENWIN employees took to the challenge and far exceeded the Cancer Society’s $100 goal. By the end of the day, the ENWIN Throne Champions had collected an impressive $1,319.45 in staff donations.
But the grand total didn’t stop there.
Just like last year, ENWIN decided to match employee donations, bringing the combined donation value to $2,638.90.
“This fundraising experience was a true testament to the generosity and kindness of our employees,” said Helga Reidel,
President and CEO. “ENWIN is proud to support what they have accomplished with a matching donation.”
ENWIN would like to acknowledge the incredible fundraising efforts of the THRONE CHAMPION volunteers, Alecia Novak, Sylvia Caruana, Jodi Reaume, Nick Swintak, Janet Winter, Wayne White and Jeff St. Louis, and to all those who donated, for their enormous contribution to the Flush Out Cancer campaign.
