ENWIN Crews Deployed to Support Simcoe County in Ice Storm Recovery Efforts

Windsor, ON: ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is sending a crew to assist with the recovery efforts in Orillia, Ontario, following a severe ice storm that damaged the local electrical infrastructure, leaving thousands without power.

Our thoughts are with the residents and communities impacted by this extreme storm. We recognize how critical electricity is during times like this, and ENWIN is proud to lend its support by sharing experienced utility professionals to help restore power quickly and safely.

The deployment includes a crew of lineworkers, repair equipment, and vehicles. ENWIN expects its crews will remain on-site for several days. We are coordinating efforts with HydroOne to ensure a swift and effective response.

Importantly, this support will not impact service to ENWIN customers. Our operations team has carefully assessed system needs and remains fully prepared to manage local demand and respond to any issues at home.
