Windsor, ON: The intersection of Drouillard Road and Whelpton Street has reopened following a 12-inch watermain break earlier today.
ENWIN, on behalf of the Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC), responded to the break this morning. ENWIN’s crews were dispatched and the road was closed to allow for safe repair operations. The watermain repair has been completed and the system has been fully re-pressurized.
A sinkhole that formed within the intersection was secured while crews completed site restoration and assessed conditions. No flooding-related damage was reported.
WUC and ENWIN thank residents and motorists for their patience while this work was completed.
