ENWIN Restores Water Service Following Watermain Break Impacting Vincent Massey Secondary School

Windsor, Ontario – ENWIN, on behalf of the Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC), has completed repairs to a watermain break on Liberty Street between Glenwood Avenue and Charlevoix Avenue.
The watermain break disrupted the water service line supplying Vincent Massey Secondary School earlier today. ENWIN crews responded promptly to assess conditions, isolate the impacted area and complete repairs safely.
 

  • As a result of the service interruption, Vincent Massey Secondary School was closed today.
  • The interruption was limited to Vincent Massey Secondary School, while water service to surrounding residential properties was not impacted.
  • Repairs have been completed and water service has been restored to Vincent Massey Secondary School.

ENWIN thanks students, staff, parents and nearby residents for their patience and understanding while crews worked to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.
