ENWIN Utilities Ltd. Continues to Restore Power to Windsor Residents

Windsor, ON: The teams at ENWIN Utilities Ltd. (ENWIN) continue to work diligently to restore power to the remaining customers affected by the previous night’s ice storm.

At the peak of outages, there were approximately 25,000 customers without power. As of 8:30 pm, there are approximately 518 across the city in isolated pockets.

Although crews will remain working throughout the night it should be noted that some outages will persist well into Friday due to the nature of the damage.

ENWIN continues to remind their customers to stay 10 metres away from downed power lines and anything which they may come in contact with, such as puddles of water and fences.  Please call ENWIN at 519-255-2727 to report a downed power line.
