ENWIN ‘Lights Up the Night” for Maryvale
August 16, 2016
“Events such as this one provide a great opportunity for ENWIN to get involved in the community. We all had a great time and we are happy to support Maryvale.” Mona Khalil, Customer Service Representative
Windsor ON: The ENWIN team put on their racing gear and stepped into the night on August 13, to raise money and awareness for Maryvale. As participants in Maryvale’s Annual Night run, they helped to support youth facing mental health challenges within our community.
In honour of this year’s “Light Up the Night” theme, ENWIN supplied reflective “light up the night” armbands to the first 300 registered runners. As theme sponsor for the event, the company also supported a spirited team of runners, including Mona Khalil, Catherine Tan, Hassan Kobeissi, Robert Spagnuolo, and Lisa Vitale.
“We are very proud to call ourselves the “Light Up the Night” sponsor for this wonderful community event,” commented ENWIN Manager of Corporate Communications, Barbara Peirce Marshall. “We would like to thank Maryvale for providing us with the opportunity to help them help Windsor youth and families.”
The run, which took place in Dieppe Park, attracted about 300 runners, including the five from ENWIN. A sincere thank you goes out to ENWIN’s team organizer Mona Khalil, for her enthusiasm and dedication in putting the ENWIN team together.
Proceeds from the night run will benefit Maryvale’s Family Mental Health Treatment Centre in Windsor.
