We try to read all our water meters every month. If we can’t access our equipment to get a water meter reading, we will leave a Water Meter Reading card for you. Fill in the card and drop it in the mail, submit the readings to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 519-255-2727.
Most homes have a visual device attached to the water meter, located outside, which lets us read the meter without entering your building. If the wire linking this device to the meter breaks down or detaches, we will know because the device will stop registering usage.
Faulty / Failed Meters
If we believe there is a problem with your meter, or the outside visual device, or if your meter is scheduled for a routine upgrade or exchange, we will contact you to request access to do the repair.
