Windsor ON: For the second time since the groundbreaking of The Farrow Riverside Miracle Park, ENWIN has joined in the celebration of an important milestone – the unveling of the park's new, fully accessible playground.
On Friday, children from St. Rose Elementary School joined ENWIN and other donors, sponsors and community members for a fun-filled ribbon-cutting ceremony.
"This wonderful, accessible and inclusive playground will allow everyone to play despite their challenges," said Bill Kell, Steering Committee Chair for the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park.
Barbara Peirce Marshall, Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at ENWIN, agreed. "We are happy and proud to have played a part in helping this playground come to life."
The playground test-run proved to be an enjoyable experience, with children happily spinning, swinging, sliding and gliding all around the play area and equipment.
"ENWIN strives to foster an inclusive culture that leverages diversity and enhances the quality of life for our community," explained Barbara. "This new playground certainly does just that."
