Water Treatment Plant Not Affected by Recent Break-in

Windsor, ON: ENWIN Utilities Ltd. wishes to inform the public that the Windsor Utilities Commission-owned Albert H. Weeks Water Treatment Plant was not involved in a recent break-in as reported on November 22, 2024 by other sources.

While Windsor Police have requested information about an occurrence in the vicinity of the water treatment plant, we can confirm that the incident did not occur on Windsor Utilities Commission property. The A.H. Weeks Water Treatment Plant remains secure, supplying safe, clean drinking water.

The safety and security of our water treatment facilities remain our top priority. ENWIN will continue to maintain rigorous security measures to protect our critical infrastructure and ensure the continued delivery of safe and clean drinking water to our community.
