IESO Voltage Reduction Test Scheduled for January 21, 2025

Windsor, ON: The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) will conduct a routine voltage reduction test on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, as part of mandatory testing of their emergency operating measures.

The test will be carried out at two intervals, with a three percent (3%) reduction occurring from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; and a five percent (5%) reduction from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Customers should not notice any effect on their electricity service during this test, and no action is required; please continue to use electricity as normal.
