Windsor, ON: As part of an ongoing infrastructure renewal program by the Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC), SheaRock Construction will undertake the following construction project, beginning Monday, March 27, 2023, weather permitting:
- Construction of a new 200mm diameter PVC watermain on Ottawa Street – Windermere Road to Argyle Road.
Please note that traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Periodic flagging may also be required. The project is expected to take approximately 8 weeks to complete. Also included in this project is the construction of a 300mm diameter PVC watermain on Kildare Road from Richmond Street to Ottawa Street and 200mm watermain on Ontario from Chilver Road to Monmouth Road. While every effort will be made to minimize traffic impacts and afford local access to residents, occasional delays can be expected. To ensure the safety of our workers, we request that motorists exercise safety precautions when approaching the construction site.
