Request for Line Covers


Contractors may request line cover up for ENWIN owned equipment to provide an additional safety barrier when working near electrical wires. Prior to starting any work, we would suggest referring to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects to confirm clearance requirements. In some cases, wires may need to be physically removed or de-energized to maintain the required clearances.

ENWIN will require the applicant to sign a Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement prior to installing any cover up materials. ENWIN will also require a cheque or PO to cover the installation and removal costs and for a deposit to cover 50% of the material costs. The material deposit will be refunded in full if the cover up is not damaged before removal and if it was installed for a period of 1 week or less.
