Tecumseh Road East, Infrastructure Renewal Project: Turner Road to Factoria Road

Windsor, ON: As part of an ongoing infrastructure renewal program by the Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC), Sterling Ridge Infrastructure will undertake the following construction project beginning Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, weather permitting:

• New 1200mm Central Corridor feedermain and 300mm watermain installation.

Please note that traffic will be diverted and reduced to one lane in each direction on the south side of Tecumseh Road, controlled by traffic signals at Walker Road.  No left turns will be allowed at the Walker / Tecumseh intersection in any direction during the construction period. The impact on Tecumseh Road is expected to take approximately 12-16 weeks to complete.  While every effort will be made to minimize traffic impacts and afford local access to residents and businesses, occasional delays can be expected. To ensure the safety of our workers, we request that motorists exercise safety precautions when approaching the construction site.
