Wellington (North) Infrastructure Renewal Project
Traffic Impact at Wyandotte and Wellington
August 29, 2018
Windsor, ON: On Thursday, August 30, the traffic signal at Wellington Street West and Wyandotte Avenue will be shut down by City of Windsor Traffic Operations. A single lane flagging operation will be established by Coco Paving Inc. to accommodate for traffic.
The construction is part of an ongoing infrastructure renewal program by the Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC) that commenced on Monday, August 20. A traffic disruption between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday August 30 is required to tie in the 400mm and 100mm watermains at the intersection. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid delays.
To ensure the safety of our workers, we request that motorists exercise caution when approaching the construction site.
