ENWIN Superheroes Raise Funds for United Way

March 28, 2019

Windsor ON: United Way Windsor-Essex County posed a very important question to residents of our community. "Do you know what local love looks like?" With a generous donation of $32,957.12 from ENWIN, it's clear that our Superheroes certainly do!

The donation, and others like it from caring individuals and companies across Windsor-Essex will help 463 local children and families build a more prosperous future. lt will also help United Way tackle what they are calling #unignorable issues -- poverty, youth unemployment and social isolation. "I would like to recognize Laura Johnston and her incredible team for their untiring efforts to organize and make this year's superhero campaign a success," said Lorraine Goddard, CEO of United Way Windsor-Essex. "Thank you for giving back to this place we call home."

Joining Laura on the United Way Committee were Mona Khalil, Amy Lesperance, Sylvia Caruana, Janet Winter, Aislinn Liolli, Nick Swintak, Angelo Tiseo and Andrew Norman.
